  Funding Success
 
  We are pleased to announce success with funding from the Regional Arts Development Fund to help cover costs to bring artists-in-residence to Warwick in April 2009. The artists from Community Rites will run workshops and help us create an amazing and spectacular performance event! Regional Arts Development Fund is a joint initiative between the Southern Downs Regional Council and Arts Queensland.
 

 
  Peace Garden Bee
 
  The planting bee for the Peace Garden planned for November 22nd has had to be postponed due to the need for more works to be done prior to planting. Watch this space for info on a new planting date.

  Film Screening - The Visitor
 
  The Peace Festival Film Society screened The Visitor on Sunday 2nd November 2008, at 3.15pm. Afternoon Tea was provided afterward. There was a tremendous roll-up with over 110 people filling the cinema! All monies raised went to The Peace Garden. Thank-you to all who attended.
